A fine stagione, dopo 26 anni di panchina, Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson non sarà più il manager del Manchester United.
A 71 anni e dopo aver vinto tutto, anche più volte, ci sta che una persona sia stanca e stufa e anche lui ha ammesso di non reggere più le tensioni come una volta.

Quello che mi ha colpito è una dichiarazione in una intervista al Daily Mirror in cui l’allenatore scozzese spiega che è arrivato il momento di ridare a sua moglie tutto quello che lei ha dato a lui in questi anni:

“For 47 years she’s been the leader of the family, looked after our three sons and sacrificed for me, now she’s got lots of grandchildren, they all dote on her and I think she’s lost her best friend, so I think I owe her time.”
